Michael Schumacher was born on 3rd January 1969 and today he is the world's greatest sports person. He earns more than any other sports person ($85m/year) and Formula 1 now has more supporters and spectators worldwide than any other sport, however his signature is very difficult to obtain. Michael Schumacher won the World championship in 1994, 1995 for Benetton and in 2000 gave team Ferrari back their World Driver's Championship after 21 years and the Constructor's Championship after 15 years. He won again in 2001 to win the Championship surpassing the World Record of 51 Grand Prix victories held by Alain Prost. After winning the Laureus Sports Person of the Year award, Michael went on in 2002 to score his hat trick of Formula 1 Championships. He also broke another record to register the quickest Championship victory of all time and the first Formula 1 driver to register 11 victories in 1 season. In 2003, even with changes to the F1 rules trying to stop Schumacher's dominance, Michael went on in the final race of the year to record his 4th F1 Championship in a row and to become the undisputed F1 Champion of all time winning an unprecedented 6 times. However his legend was not yet finished having 2 more seasons in contract with Ferrari. He has broken all conceivable world records in F1 and even in the 2004 season he had broken all records again to give him an undisputed 5 Formula 1 Grand Prix Championships in succession and 7 in total already being the only person ever to have won 6. Even though they keep trying to change the rules (qualifying, tyres & engine changes) to try and make it more even for the other drivers to beat him, he still defeats all challenges. Again in 2004 Michael Schumacher won for the second time the Laureas Sports Person of the Year award, the most honored award for any athlete in the world. At Monza Schumacher had announced his retirement from Formula 1. After 15 full seasons and 7 titles, Michael Schumacher's name would be lost from the grid in 2007. But there is little doubt about it, the 2006 Brazilian Grand Prix showed that Schumacher had definitely left the sport at the top of his game Having 91 career victories with 68 pole positions creating 7 World Championships with all the above being World. This beautifully framed signed photograph measures 500mm x 600mm and comes complete with Certificate of Authenticity
